The Fitness Guru
The Fitness Guru, with host Michael Feigin, MS, CSCS, avoids the harsh in your face approach that is associated with many fitness trainers, as well as the soft-focused coddling associated with other trainers. There is no preaching on the show. The pursuit of answers will serve to inspire the listening audience into creating a healthier lifestyle for themselves and their families.
The name The Fitness Guru, is tongue-in-cheek, suggesting that no one should dictate health advice to the masses, but rather, inform and educate the individual. Each person may then better understand what works for he or she.
The show is about reinforcing positive lifestyle changes over a long period of time. The Fitness Guru is about celebrating new techniques and learning from best practices from around the world via experts and proven case studies.
Previous guests have included many health and fitness personalities including NHL legend Mark Messier, Reebok Sports Club Director of Group Exercise Whitney Chapman, Jesse Itzler, founder of Marquis Jets and an ultra-marathoner and Stephen Charles Lincoln, founder of The Protein Bakery.
